Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to Report Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle At 9.00pm on Sunday 29 March in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall, a silver Ford Fiesta car was stolen from a driveway. Theft from motor vehicle Between 5.00pm on Friday 27 and 8.00am on Monday 30 March at Ben Arran House, Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, considerable damage was caused to the outside and inside of a coach, a Talbot Camper van and an Ambulance welfare unit. Access was gained from the gym premises next door. Theft Between 3.00pm on Friday 27 and 7.30am on Monday 30 March in Papplewick Lane, Hucknall, a two wheeled trailer used to dispense large coils of plastic pipe was stolen along with 250m of yellow piping. At 11.54pm on Tuesday 31 March in Ogle Street, Hucknall, a bike, with a blue frame and black handlebars, and sunbed/lawn deck chair was stolen from a garden by two offenders, one on an electric scooter the second on foot. Robbery Nothing to Report Violence against person At 2.45pm on Friday 27 March in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, the caller was at the bus stop with their grandson when two males on push bikes came from behind and pushed the caller and hit the grandson on the back of his head. Both white males, one was skinny, wearing a black jacket and riding an orange bike. The second male was wearing a grey tracksuit and riding a black bike. At 4.19am on Saturday 28 March at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, the manager was threatened with a glass bottle by a 30/40 year old white male who was curled up in a corner near the toilets. At 8.56pm on Sunday 29 March at The Hucknall NET Tram car park a taxi driver reported being spat at by a group of 14/16 year old males who surrounded his taxi and opened the boot before ripping signage from the vehicle. One was black, two white, all wearing black tracksuits and balaclavas. Criminal Damage At 3.05pm on Friday 27 March in Emperors Way, Hucknall, a female tripped and slammed her white Seat car door into a blue Suzuki SX4 car leaving a full dent. She refused to give her details and drove off. Both cars were stationary at the time of the incident. Around 4.30am on Sunday 29 March in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, a report of two males in dark clothing, with hoods up, kicking the security door to a building and also kicking the callers car and punching the wing mirror. At 8.32pm on Monday 30 March in Duke Street, Hucknall, three males,15/16 years old, wearing black tracksuits and faces covered, opened the boot of a taxi. One threw a stone which cracked the windscreen. They were accompanied by a female. ASB At 7.13pm on Thursday 26 March at the Tesco Express Store, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a group of around 30, 12-17year old males and females tried to block access to the petrol station with shopping trolleys before starting to throw rocks at passing cars. They continued rolling shopping trolleys at cars and customers in the car park area. At 6.48pm on Friday 27 March on a NET tram, travelling between Hucknall and Bulwell, a group of around eight white males, 12/16 years old, were throwing objects around and spraying drinks at passengers. The tram had to be withdrawn from service for cleaning. Described as wearing black jackets and black joggers, two or three with face coverings/balaclavas, two in Nike coats, one in a North Face coat. At 3.09pm on Sunday 29 March at The Range, Central Walk, High Street, Hucknall, one black and three white males, wearing balaclavas and black clothing, one with a Nike bag, running around the store, annoying staff, knocking displays over and refusing to leave.. Around 3.07pm on Sunday 29 March at Herbert Buzzard Court, Hankin Street, Hucknall, three youths dressed in black clothing, wearing balaclavas were running around inside the building. It is not clear how they got in. They left when asked to do so. Around 4.15pm on Sunday 29 March in George Street, Hucknall, an iron gate was kicked off and significant damage caused to a composite door in an attempted break in by a black male on a bike. At 6.05pm on Tuesday 31 March in High Street, Hucknall, a report of a male on a motorbike doing wheelies in the pedestrian area. At 8.45pm on Wednesday 1 April in Clumber Street, Hucknall, a report of youngsters messing around with the callers car opening the filler cap. This has happened on four or five occasions.
